Past Events-We had a great turnout at Midnight at the Oasis 2017. Gillespies, and Whitney’s received trophies. Several people received awards at the Welton World of Wheels show., 4 people attended the Sunrunner’s Imperial Valley car show. March 30th we had a show ‘n’ shine at the Copper Place retirement center in Yuma. We had 21 cars. It was also their Hawaiian days and the lunch they served was excellent. Thanks to everyone that attended.
Future Events-Gary Nelson, let everyone know that Midnight at the Oasis for 2018 Registration has gone up to $95 plus $10 for reserved parking.
An MG Car Club from No. Carolina, will be in town on June 28. Paula has Dick Lummy’s phone number and will try to organize a show ‘n’ shine with the two clubs.
Our October Meeting will be held on October 19th to let a few more people get back to Yuma.
The board meeting is October 16th, 10am at the Tunnell’s
Reminder-The club Christmas party is December 2nd. Happy Hour 3-4pm. Gift drawing 4-6pm. Dinner at 6pm.
Car club Boomer bash for 2018 is February 17th.
Summer Events- Summer dinners are on a Thurdays at 4PM: May 4th (La Herraduras), June 1st (Olive Garden), July 6th (Applebee’s), August 3rd (Golden Corral) September 7th (Da Boyz in old town), October 5th (Las Herraduras). Contact Paula for any questions.
Paula presented each one of our three charities with a check for $2,500 dollars .
Linda Tunnell challenged every couple to bring a laundry basket full of household items to donate to the women's shelter to our November meeting.

The drawing for the car on our Boomer Bash 2018 T-shirt was done, and Sam May’s ticket was drawn. Congratulations. His 1957 chevy will be on our T-shirt. Paula will get the art work done this summer.
By Law changes were submitted by Paula to change audit of our books to review. It was approved by the club.
There is going to be a review of the books, April 13th.
50/50 drawing was won by Gary Nelson, $46.
